Drainage for a concrete patio?

hi i had the same problem with my drive way wot i did was instead of a small soak away put a long thin one around 2 sides kind of like a border and wen u lay the concrete lay it just off level so it runs towards the soak aways looks nice too. mine works great and we get alot of rain here.
