I live in a middle cl neighborhood. We used to have decent neighbors until they decided to move into a newer/bigger home. They sold the house to a guy, who in turn moved in his welfare mother girlfriend and their two children. She actually used to be one of the recipients on my caseload while I was a caseworker for public itance. She is the laziest, worst parent in the world. She hits her children on the back of the head when they misbehave, she swears at them and calls them horrible names, they inturn swear, using the "f "word, etc. I have tried talking to her about getting parenting cles, I've reported her to DCFS and so have other neighbors, but she tells them all is well and they go away. The children come outside with things like sharp scissors, they play by the road, etc. She sits and watches tv all day and smokes cigs and pot. We want to move and are saving up, but it will be atleast 6 months before we have enough saved. What to do until then?

My boyfriend and I are both Christian. I grew up following the Roman Catholic religion, and he grew up following an independent branch, of which I'm not exactly sure. I grew up going to church every Sunday, I received my communion and confirmation, etc. Once I got to college I kind of lost my faith.. not in the sense that I stopped believing, but more in the sense that I didn't make my faith a priority. I started dating my boyfriend about 5 months ago and he is very religious. I started going to his church with him and his family on Sundays. He has also recently just told me that he is waiting for marriage to have , so i know that religion and God is very important to him. I would like to make religion a priority in my life, not only because of my boyfriend, but because I want to experience the greatness that he feels when he is believing. I want to make a Manga. I want it to be type fantasy story with alot of wierd characters. I don't know wether to make in in earth of in a different world. Please advise on car accident?

my wife got an car accident as she hit another car and an old lady(75) were injured one year back in CA. I have Farmers insurance and liability coverage of 50k. After primary investigation by the COP my wife was 100% guilty for the accident and we accepted it. Now almost every month I get a call from my insurance company with a new person saying " I am your new adjuster, if you have any question you can ask" but their message is always same: I have one more year to wait until the case resolve completely meaning the other party has total 2 years to claim the damage. Keeping an injured ferret comfortable?

I usually let my ferrets roam my room before I go to bed, and tonight Blitz, the youngest, got out. He made his way downstairs and into the kennel where our 3 year old boxer sleeps. Just wanted some opinions. My friend and I were discussing this and I think there should be...she doesn't. I think that it should be a requirement for immigrants to have basic mastery of the English language within a year of coming here. I just think that it makes it easier for everybody. Of course I think that it's good for Americans to know other languages(and I think we should show a little more interest in other cultures) but I just think that it's ridiculous for people that have been here for 10 and 15 years to not have a an advanced comprehension of the English language(yes, I do know of someone like this). Im a teacher/lecturer and I've taught many students in my time. However I currently have a major dilemma. One of my female students is extremely atrractive and i mean extremely. Should I buy a 2004 Grand Prix with high mileage?

I'm going into my senior year of high school and I need a new car pretty soon. Definitely before I go to college. I have a 1999 Grand AM with over 180,000 miles on it and it's just been a headache to drive. I think the previous owners were pretty rough on it. I was thinking of getting a white 2004 Grand Prix GT2 with 125,000 miles on it. It really want a newer style Grand Prix and that one is about all I can afford. well getting a new guitar isnt really based on skill. its just based on what you like i guess, if you dont like your current guitar, or if it is a piece of crap or something. then buy a new one by all means, but you sound like you know a lot of stuff. but pretty much only buy a new guitar if you think you really need a new one. that guitar is a good guitar but i think it is one that has a floyd rose. and im going to warn you right now, theres only two good things about a floyd rose-divebombs and it stays in tune. besides that they *********. they are a ***** to restring, if you use a heavier or lighter gauge of strings than what comes on it, the floating bridge will be messed up it will be either flying above the body or sunk into the guitar. that means you will have to either change your tuning to fix the problem, always get the same gauge of strings, or install a tremsetter or buy more springs. it depends. but i would seriously not get a floyd rose until you under stand all the trouble that comes with it. my friend had one and it messed up. he got a heavier gauge of strings and it flew up in the air and it was impossible to tune it to standard or anywhere close to it cause the more you tuned it the more i would pull the bridge up, thus pulling the already tuned strings out of tune, its a never ending process. the only way to fix this is to get a tremsetter which you have to drill out your guitar to install. or to get more springs, and still you have to get a perfect balance of tension. he ended up having to get light d'addario strings and now he has to get those same strings or his floyd rose will mess up again. it really does suck. not to mention of you are playing live and you break a string it instantlly throws the other strings out of tune. and if you try to palm mute and you press to hard it pushes the bridge back and you go out of tune. seriously dont get a floyd rose until you know what you are getting.

PLEASE help she is killing us!?

It started out small and unnoticeable simple colds..It was not until a few months ago did I realize that its my best friend..you see I do not have any friends because I just moved here and don't go out much but last summer I met my best friend she is my age with 3 kids around my 4yr old daughters age ( i have one child) my daughter made it to her 3rd birthday never being sick! NOT EVEN A COLD! but ever since we met this family we come home and 3 days later we are sick..We are not around any people because I am a stay at home mom and I do not know anybody in this area..This woman is kind of strange..she has her own home yet is constantly running to her moms house with her 3 kids and spending days at a time there and when she gets home she carries a illness which is ped on to me and my daughter withen 3 days..her mom has a small trailor they are VERY DIRTY! GARBAGE,BUGS,POOP AND PEE IN EVERY CORNER! I only went there once this is a 2 bedroom trailor which houses 12 people when she is there with her kids...it was a joke at first..my daughter and I would go visit 3 days after we would be sick with a cold..we would laugh and say we were allergic to her.. my husband would say I was not sure it was her who got us sick because we do go shopping and stuff...so I doented a journal of sorts in my head..visit her 3 days after head cold...visit her again 2 days later stomach flu cripples my family, visit again 4 days after chest cold...most recent visited her 3 days after stomach flu again! all this occuring in the last 3 months..my 4 yr old has lost so much weight from these illnesses..we visited her for a week without getting sick but as soon as she went to her moms trailor she brought back a new more violent illness..I love her so much and her kids and they love us soooo much but I am scared of her...we went to the emergency room and they ran all sorts of tests to see if we has a immunity disorder like aids/hiv we are fine..all tests were great! nobody else ever gets us sick..like I said other then family she is my only friend here..my 4yr old loves to play with her kids but now my daughter is so scared to go there because she fears getting ill...I mean who knows whats next the illnesses just keep getting worse! She keeps calling begging to hang out and I so badly want to but I feel knowing about this I would be a bad mom to bring my child around them..What can I say to her? does this mean the end of our friendship? I recently joined a consulting firm and went through a few weeks of initial training. We have got a 15 year old thouroghbred cross and the thing will not gain weight at all. We have had his teeth floated, the vet checked for worms, anemia and sand. We have tried using weight builder, beet pulp, corn oil, moles and everything else and nothing is working at all. Our vet set up a feed ratio for him and I know it sounds like a lot but as of right now we feed him 5 pounds of cracked corn and 5 flakes of alfalfa haay in the morning and the same at night. We moved him to one of our small paddocks to limit excercise and keep rounds bales of gr hay available for him at all times in it and the hose is still showing ribs. He is about 16.3 hh and some have said that because of the breed he will stay thin. Can anyone help all of our other horses are fat and have a nice barrell and then he looks abused or something.

Depressed when baby is born?

Has anyone ever felt this way before? My brother just had his little boy today and I was a little depressed when I heard it was born. I didn't really know why but then I remembered that every time my sisters had children, I was a little depressed too. I am sad when I find out they are pregnant, but I'm depressed when they finally have the baby! Should I invest (buy) this stock? Stocks are not like a car where you can kick the tires etc. There are some common sense issues, but mostly it's amtter of ratings and a personal faith. Stocks are about the future which none of us can see. What happened was I imagine stocks were being reported as great investments( will pay out big money in the FUTURE), but in reality turned out to be the story of the Emperor's New Clothes. Nothing there. So you just handed a wad of cash over for nothing and the smart, clever people knew that this was phony and withdrew all their shares before the others did. Sort of like musical chairs. When the music ends you better have a chair or you'll be in the floor. Alot of people weren't anticipating the music to end so quickly(THE FUTURE being THEN) because of the positive ratings they thought the value would KEEP climbing over time.

They have lice or mites and you have luckily caught it in the early stages, left untreated it will lead to a long and painful death of both of your guinea pigs. I do pray that you are taking them to an vet as thy are the only ones that have comped the extra schooling to treat guinea pigs and other pocket pets. These little tykes are very hard to treat and if treated by the wrong vet they will still die. I have a service where i help people with their guinea pigs and the only death i have had is guinea pigs that were treated improperly by vets in the early staged of mites and lice. You make sure they take a scraping of the skin and look at it under a microscope, so they identify the exact strain of bug.

You can buy decorators caulk in any DIY store. It is sometimes called Painters Mate an can be used for filling in the cracks in your walls unless they are very wide or deep then you need to fill them with a filler such as Polycell first. Caulk should be wiped down afterwards with a damp cloth to ensure a smooth finish that can then be painted over. It is not water soluble as you will find if you get it onto your fingers as it is the devil to remove!

I am 18, college-bound for the fall, and I can't decide on where I see myself. My original plan was to head into law, but I did my research and learned, to my dismay, that law is a very very popular career choice. Second I considered Computer Engineering and Science but than I had a peek into the past and remembered how poorly I did in my High School math cles and then foresaw a future of pain and stress for the next four years as CE or CS major. Than I came to a realization that the my interests in life usually go back to these four things: coffee, music, philosophy, and literature. How in hell am I suppose to choose a major with interest that usually leave people with the opinion that those who have only such interest will end up broke and homeless. I really want to have my majors down before I attend my college orientation next month and see my adviser to pick cles. I really would like to double major. I have considered just becoming a business and cognitive science major and just go into business. I mean I love coffee and I always had this dream to move to Seattle, Washington, the coffee capital, or to San Fransisco, CA and just starting my own independent coffee shop. I mean there are three independent coffee shops that are doing pretty well for themselves, and my hometown isn't the most lucrative place to do business. I look back now at my parents and think of what a great time they probably had being kids in the 70's and teens in the 80's. I look back at pictures of my dad and his friends and all the funny looking clothes they had. They didn't have cell phones, or computers to really take over their social life to communicate. Okay, so I have been doing a lot of research on natural horse keeping. My horse is already barefoot, and pastured 24/7. I want to feed him more naturally, too. Long story short, I did my research and have decided to feed oats. I understand from reading a few sources that because oats do not have balanced amounts of calcium and phosphorous, that feeding small amounts of alfalfa can make up for it. I would feed alfalfa cubes, because baled alfalfa is pricey and hard to find in my area. So my question is, how much/many alfalfa cubes should I feed? For my horse's weight of about 950-1000 pounds, it is recommended to feed 3-4 pounds of oats a day, which equals to 3-4 quarts, or two standard feed scoops. There is one other boarder at my barn, and she is interested in natural feeding, too, and is relying on me to do the research. The owner is fine with anything we decide to do, because we kind of run the barn for him. I also heard feeding oats is cheaper then buying mixed feeds like pellets or sweet feed. How much do you pay for a bag of oats? Alfalfa cubes? Do you find it cheaper than buying sweet feed or pelleted feed? I personally hate sweet feed, so I am eager for a change. Also, if you have any other suggestions for additional supplements to add to our horses' diets, they will be appreciated. I heard black oil sunflower seeds, flax seeds, linseed, and chia seeds are beneficial. I also heard about vegetable oils and cod liver oil, apple cider vinegar, and wheat bran. One source said to provide free-choice oat straw for horses to munch on even though it has little nutritional value. HELP ME PLEASE! about itchy body and scalp!!!?

For about a month now I have been plagued by uncontrollable itching. It started with my scalp last fall. It wasn't a big deal back then, I noticed that my hair follicles had somewhat like a squishy brown circle followed by a clear line. I didn't know what it was, and it didn't bother me too much. Then about a month ago I started to notice that my arms were itching. I would feel a sting then I would look down and a black speck would be there and I would scratch and it looked like a really small hair sort of. I decided it must be a "black pepper mite" but now I'm not so sure what it is that I have. The same thing that was in my hair follicles last fall has now spread to the hair follicles in my arms, legs, stomach, face, , and probably my back(I can't get to those) as well as still being in my scalp. I need to know what this is. I am pushing my parents to take me to a doctor, they didn't want to take me because they didn't believe me. But I'm afraid this could be a serious condition.
