I have 2 bank acounts that I have used for years one i have been using for 10 years the other 3 years but?

I still never get credit card offers and when I did years back I was denied. I have always kept a couple tousand in each bank. Why the heck will they not approve me but there are all kinds of youngsters right out of high school getting approved. This is pissing me off. And I won't borrow my own money thats what the banks are for.
