Who or what is Ms Marvel?

I've recently been playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and I played the mission about Ms Marvel. It said she was abducted by the Kree, experimented on, and she got superpowers. That also sounds like the criteria for being an inhuman. So is she an inhuman, a human, mutant, or what?
