Can you download or save an episode from a DVD?

I teach humanities through the arts at a community college. I instruct for the tradition cl and the online variant The chapter for next week is on television. I wanted to use an episode of the show futurama to show how it interprets western christian folklore regarding the faustian bargain. I own the dvd the episode is on and I was wondering if it is possible to download/upload it to the school supported course materials website so my online students could view it. This isnt a question on legality, it is for educational use and doesnt violate any copy write laws. I am wondering if it is actually possible to get the episode posted from the dvd...how do I do that?
