Is there a certain month when iguanas are in mating season?

i heard the get extremely agressive during mating season, so i want to know if theres a certain time when that happens or if it just happens randomly? or if the iguana has to be a certain age? ive only had my iguana for 2 months. (i dont know if its a boy or girl). soo yeeaaa. what month? and what age? thanks :D
