What to do? Storytelling Alice: "Export movie is not implemented at this time"?

Nothing wrong with your computer, there is a Forum-discussion (http://www.alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=17) on the Alice-site, it says: "The movie recording feature in Alice has been disabled for some time now as the videos it produced tended to be excessively large. As it stands, the team is looking at 3rd party software and will post a faq on how to install and run it sometime soon." Mind you, this was the answer in 2005, and the option is still diabled. The last post on this topic was in 2007. So the answer is still: use a third party video capture utility.
