Compare and Contrast Mother/Daughter relationships?

Okay so I need to do a compare/contrast paper for my composition cl. I am planning on doing it about the mother/daughter relationships of Emily, Lorelai and Rory on my favorite TV show Gilmore Girls. If there is anyone who can help me on researching information, please let me know. I am a huge fan of the show and watch it on re-runs every chance I get. Thanks.
